1. Mandatory Documents Required for Non-Indian Passport Holders

Must have at least 6 months remaining validity from your date of entry into India. Digital scans on phones are NOT accepted by forest checkpoint officers.
Valid Indian Visa / e-Visa
Ensure your Indian Visa or printed Electronic Travel Authorization (e-Visa ETA) and Kolkata immigration entry stamp are clearly legible.
2. Forest Department Permits & Differential Entry Fees
As per the West Bengal Forest Department rules, entry permit tariffs for foreign nationals are higher than those for Indian citizens:
- Differential Entry Tariffs: The statutory per-day entry permit fee for foreign tourists is approximately ₹500 per day (compared to ₹100 for Indian nationals).
- Sajnekhali Checkpoint Clearance: Every foreign visitor must personally present their passport at the Sajnekhali Range Office for register signing. Our tour manager handles all the paperwork, fee payments, and bureaucratic verification on your behalf.
